Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9] and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a real estate developer who retired who's grandfather emigrated from Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. Her parents married in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000 with an education in both English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega Sorority member. Psaki was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer, was a member of the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki was initially engaged in the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will be serving as a Political Analyst during 2022's United States Presidential Elections. Psaki will host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023. [35] Psaki was the first to make a television appearance following her departure from her post as White House Press Secretary on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon discussing the Robb Elementary School shooting.
