Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, born on November 24, 1981 was an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to launch their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time together with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball credits her interest in politics to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primary elections, and also was able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able observe how the election affected those living in Jordan, and thus became aware of the global impact US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 15, 2015. She created the People's House Project in May 2017 to help Democratic causes.
