Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actress from the United States. Her numerous roles on the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are among her most famous. As Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Her film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured 2019 and The Tender Bar 2021. Rabe was also a part of the television series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001, alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her professional stage debut was staged at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts, where she starred again with her mother. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese) The roles allowed her to be granted an Equity Card. In the summer of 2003, she returned to the Gloucester Stage Company to appear in Proof by David Auburn. In 2003, she appeared also in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. The actress returned to New York shortly after she finished her studies. From September 29 to October 2 of 2004 she was in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor which was one of a number of one-act plays presented as The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
